Areca is one of the most popular palms in the tropics and subtropics. The genus numbers about 55 species of plants that are distributed in tropical Asia New Guinea, Australia.
Its appearance, especially the stems, is partly reminiscent of bamboo, and the leaves are feathery, bright green, and densely arranged.

In order to grow well, this type of palm has its preferences for certain conditions in its environment.
It prefers bright light and lasts longer if it stays in the sun for a long time. They are sensitive to oversaturation with water, so you need to be careful with watering. In the season in which it grows the most, it is good to water once or twice with a weak liquid fertilizer.
These palms are relatively fast-growing, so transplanting them into larger pots can be done every year.
