Kalanchoe (Kalanchoe)

Kalanchoe is a large genus of about 125 species of tropical, flowering plants in the family Crassulaceae.
Most of the varieties are shrubs or perennial herbs, but some are annuals or biennials.
The plant blooms can be bright shades of orange, pink, yellow, red, and white.
It can be grown as an ornamental houseplant or in the garden.

Care
Like any plant, it needs light, but it also grows well in artificial light.
It is preferable to place it on a south-facing window in winter, and indirect light or an east/west window in summer.
It is watered moderately, especially at lower temperatures. When the plant is overwatered, the leaves will fall off.
The plant grows best in highly permeable soil as it is a succulent plant.
A characteristic of plants of this type is the feeding function of the leaves, thanks to which they can withstand drought.
When the plant over-blooms, the flowers should be cut, and the pot should be placed in a cool and semi-dark place without watering.
After about 20 - 30 days, you can move it again to a lighter place and water it as usual.
