Nolina palm

A beautiful and interesting palm that is very unpretentious. It is suitable for growing at home even by beginner flower lovers.
It is also known by the name "Horsetail", because of its specific elongated leaves, and also "Elephant's step", because of the shape of the stem. It is a perennial evergreen plant that can reach a height of up to 4.5 meters. The plant's large, broad stem serves as a reservoir that stores water necessary for its survival during periods of drought.

• It calmly tolerates the summer heat, and in winter it prefers a bright and cool place with a temperature not lower than 8-10°C. It is watered throughout the year, but sparingly when the soil is completely dry. For this plant, overwatering is more dangerous than drying out - with excess moisture, the root rots. Nolina tolerates partial shade, but in a brighter and sunnier place, it grows better and forms a more lush crown of leaves.Exhibition: Nolina Palm likes bright but indirect light. You can place it on a southern or eastern window, but make sure it does not receive direct sunlight.

  Temperature: This plant is tolerant of heat but should not be exposed to temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.

  Watering: Nolina Palm likes moist soil but should not be overwatered. Water it every 7-10 days, letting the soil dry out between waterings. In the summer months, it may need to be watered more often.

  Fertilizing: The plant can be fertilized in spring and summer using liquid fertilizer for decorative plants.

  Repotting: Nolina Palm grows slowly and does not require frequent repotting. It is recommended to repot it in a larger pot every 2-3 years.
