Pachira - often called the "Money Tree" is a beautiful plant with interesting symbolism. In South America, Pachira is harvested for nuts, in Asia it is believed to bring good luck, in Europe and the USA it is used as a decorative houseplant because of its original appearance.
There is a belief that the plant attracts success and wealth.
In Eastern cultures, this is explained by the number of leaves on a branch, which represents the five Feng Shui elements.
The plant thrives at moderate room temperature - 18-24 degrees. It is not pretentious, it is preferable to place it in a semi-shady place, away from direct sunlight, which can dry the leaves.
The Pachira plant likes a moderately humid environment, but you should not overdo it with watering, so as not to cause the tree to get sick. Watering should only happen when the soil is dry.
In winter, Pahirata slows down its development and needs even less water.
