Originally from the tropics of Africa, plant known by its funny name "mother-in-law's" or "sword".
Sansevieria is an ornamental plant with spectacular dark and light green leaves.
The light makes the leaf patterns more colorful and saturated.
Very sensitive to water. The leaves should not get wet, because they will rot.
In the summertime it absorbs more water, but in the winter season it have to be reduced.
It need sandy soil that can drain water well.
Although it`s an indoor plant, sansevieria can also be grown outside.
