Valentine`s Day
Every year on February 14, couples around the world take the time to spend it together, in the name of love. Whether you are married, engaged, or in a long-term relationship, you know that love is not always a walk in the park and requires patience, understanding, and compromise, but to return home to your loved ones is the best feeling in the world. Valentine's Day is a wonderful time of year and it's magical to see so many couples spending time together and showing that they value each other. However, we at Top-Flowers believe that we need to show our loved ones that we love and appreciate them every day of the year - so don't save it just for Valentine's Day!
But Why Flowers?
- Flowers never go out of style. It doesn't matter if it's a new relationship or a 50-year marriage, flowers are universal and are just as good a gift from the early days of the honeymoon to the golden years spent together.
- Flowers simply express love! Universal red roses are a symbol of adoration. They make it easy for you to express your feelings.
- You can enjoy the flowers for a long time. Unlike a large box of chocolates /which we also offer as a complement to the flowers/, which will be eaten in a few days, flowers can be displayed to remind you of your love.
- The scent of flowers is very relaxing and soothing. Not only you are buying a beautiful bouquet of flowers that bring happiness, but you also get the bonus of the wonderful scent of flowers! Every different type of flower, whether its roses, freesia, lilies - even sunflowers has its own unique scent and energy.
- Universal manifestations of love. What do we mean by that? Well, flowers can be sent to friends and family. They're not just for romantic gestures, and sometimes "just like that" is the only reason you need.
How to choose the right flowers for your partner
Flowers are one of the most thoughtful gifts to give and can really show a lot of thought and meaning. Here is a list of our best tips for choosing the right bouquet of flowers for your Valentine's Day partner to ease your struggle with wandering,
Choose a bouquet that reflects your relationship
Different bouquets can have different meanings, as well as different flowers. Give your partner flowers that reflect them and your relationship, choosing a bouquet according to their meaning or color. Discover your loved ones' favorite flowers to be as close as possible to the perfect gift. However, you may not know exactly what your partner likes. If this is the case, think of things like their favorite colors and scents and try to explore their home for inspiration.
Popular flower options
Whether you are looking for flowers for Valentine's Day that will not make the recipient blush too much, or you want to surprise a close friend with a bunch of flowers, we offer some of our favorite alternatives to the red rose.
These increasingly popular spring blooms are the perfect flower for a gift. They are available in a variety of colors, including beautiful pinks, passionate reds, soft whites, yellows, and purples. Tulips are flowers that are loved by all people in the world and they are also relatively durable. This is because after being cut, tulips continue to grow.
A bouquet of lilies is something a little different from your typical Valentine's flowers. However, we highly recommend them because lilies are stylish and beautiful flowers and are ideal for expression. Amazingly different and a bit exotic, a bouquet of lilies will make a great impression, no matter what stage of the relationship you are in. In addition, these flowers smell so good that they will remind you every day.
These delicate flowers look a bit like roses but come with very different meanings. They are another blossom that symbolizes gratitude and appreciation, so you can send them to your partner to express your feelings. Pale pink Eustoma may symbolize love and affection, but striking purple varieties that are said to signify beauty /no doubt so/ have been popular in royal circles. A great suggestion if you want your partner to feel really special on Valentine's Day.
Petals with tiger stripes on the colorful colors of alstroemeria are so exotic! Alstroemeria colors are said to signify friendship, love, and devotion. Give them to your Valentine's partner to confirm that you are serious in your meanings.
If in doubt, choose Classic Red Roses
If despite all the bouquets and a variety of arrangements, you are still not sure which flowers to choose, the classic red roses are always winners on Valentine's Day and never go out of style. Go to our online store to view our interpretations of rose arrangements, or choose a classic bouquet. You can also contact one of our florists to prepare an individual bouquet for you, which will be perfect to give a classic romance to your partner.
Don't wait for the last minute!
Avoid stressful running at the last minute for one last bunch of wilted flowers. Order your flowers earlier. Prepare in advance for Valentine's day. For example, we offer a planned gift service for our customers, where you can order flowers and gifts in advance. So we will prepare, take care of and deliver the flower arrangement to the address fresh, on the exact date on which you want to surprise your loved one.
Take care of the flowers before you give them
Once you have chosen your bouquet for Valentine's Day, be sure to take care of it, especially if you bought it a few days earlier to give it away in person. Before putting the flowers in a vase, be sure to clean the vase properly with bleach to make sure that the stems will not absorb bacteria that would shorten their life. Fill the vase about two-thirds full with water and allow it to settle for five minutes so that there are no more air bubbles in the water. Place the flowers in the vase, making sure there are no leaves below the water level.
